An easy drinking medium bodied blend.

Mourvedre

This wine is dry with a rustic, spicy nose and hints of tobacco smokiness. Light to medium body with a subtle clove finish. This thick skinned grape is deeply colored and high in tannins. Does best aerated and will age well.

Carmenere

Carmenere is a difficult grape to grow and in hot regions yields are lower than other red varietals. This wine exemplifies a light to medium-bodied Carmenere with earthy fruit-forward notes of cherries and hints of cranberry and pomegranate. Soft finish with light tannins, a splash of hickory spice, and a hint of tobacco.
It has a red crimson color and is nicely balanced with a low alcohol content. The flavor is smooth, earthy and ever so slightly smoky.

Pairs well with lamb and pork; and spicy Spanish or Mexican foods are also great.
